Dogan Media International, subsidiara a Dogan Holding, si-a dezvoltat operatiunile in Romania din 2007, odata cu intrarea pe piata media din Romania a televiziunii generaliste Kanal D, statie care se afla in prezent in top trei statii TV, de multe ori pozitionandu-se pe primul si al doilea loc in audiente.  

Grupul  Dogan Media International s-a dezvoltat in timp, cu crearea  proprietatilor online kanald.ro, stirilekanald.ro, wowbiz.ro, kfetele.ro si radioimpuls.ro. In martie 2019, Radio Impuls, o retea  cu acoperire in cele mai importante zece orase ale tarii, intra in portofoliul Dogan Media International, alaturandu-se statiei TV Kanal D.

Divizia de Digital a Kanal D s-a dezvoltat anul acesta prin lansarea theXclusive, un proiect indraznet, inovator ce inglobeaza mai multe show-uri, productii online in exclusivitate, ce pot fi accesate pe canalul de YouTube theXclusive.

Kanal D Romania are misiunea de a raspunde nevoilor publicului de divertisment si informatii cu un continut inovator, divers si de calitate. Postul TV isi intareste pozitia pe piata media urmand o strategie de continut originala care a consolidat pozitia de trendsetter pe o gama larga de categorii de continut.

La aproape 15 ani de la prima emisie, Kanal D Romania a devenit unul dintre cele mai vizionate și iubite posturi TV de pe piata media din Romania, creand comunitatii puternice si generand interactivitate prin intermediul prin intermediul platformelor online. Statia Kanal D se afla in top trei televiziuni din Romania, plasandu-se adesea pe primul si al doilea loc in audiente, atat in Prime Time cat si in Day Time.

Kanal D s-a plasat pe primul loc in audiente, la nivelul publicului National, in Prime Time (20:00 – 24:00), perioada ianuarie-septembrie 2021, cu o cota de piata 18,1%, si o crestere de 25%  fata de aceeasi perioada a anului precedent. In ceea ce priveste publicul de la orase, Kanal D a inregistrat de asemenea o crestere semnificativa a cotei de piata, de 28%, cu 15,7% Share,  plasandu-se astfel pe locul doi in Prime Time (20:00-24:00), pe acest target, conform datelor oferite de Kantar Media Romania.

 De asemenea, o crestere importanta a cotei de piata a fost inregistrata si la nivelul publicului comercial, de 23%, la nivelul intregii zile.

Kanal D ranked first in audiences, regarding National public, in Prime Time (20:00 - 24:00), during January-September 2021, with a market share of 18.1%, and an increase of 25% compared to the same period of the previous year. Regarding the Urban audience, Kanal D also recorded a significant increase in market share of 28%, with 15.7% Share, thus ranking second place in Prime Time (20: 00-24 : 00), on this target, according to the data provided by Kantar Media Romania. Also, a significant increase of the market share was registered regarding the Commercial public, of 23% on the whole day.
